Casa San José

Biography

Lizbeth Garcia, from Mexico, attended high school in Chicago and since 2014 has been part of the Latino community in Pittsburgh. Lizbeth met Casa San José when she first arrived in Pittsburgh and received caring support from the organization. This provided her with tools to be able to quickly establish herself in the community. Her interest in the work done by Casa led Lizbeth to volunteer for Casa San José, longing one day to be part of that wonderful team. Lizbeth currently manages community events and the distribution of resources for the community, including translation. Lizbeth is a wife and mother of four. She enjoys the time she spends with her family, likes to cook, do crafts and considers herself a simple and creative person.
