Our Staff – Mental Health Program Coordinator


is Colombian, from the city of Medellín (The city of the Eternal Spring). It was there that she obtained her professional degree as a Bacteriologist. She worked for most of her life in her country with the pharmaceutical industry in the treatment and education of patients with terminal and cardiovascular diseases.
In Pittsburgh she had the opportunity to work as a supervisor in the unaccompanied children-refugee program to provide protection and well-being in the family reunification process.

This experience reaffirms the importance of offering the immigrant community information and support that allows them to better adapt to improve the quality of life of immigrants and their families in the country of origin.
For her, Casa San José is the key piece of union and support between immigrants and their families.
