Biography

George Marquez was born and raised in Venezuela, but lived 4 years in Ecuador. Although he has only been in Pittsburgh for one year, he enjoys outreach work as a coordinator and a supporter for the LGBTQ community.  A few passions that led him to work at Casa was his love for the Latino community. As an LGBTQ activist and refugee, George loves working with people and helping them get the tools that can improve their lives. His passion for helping makes it easy to support our community! One of his accomplishments include best lead actor at the Eco Film Festival in Venezuela. George enjoys going to the movies, watching movies and acting.
