Election Action Alert for Our Amigos for Tuesday, Nov. 6

This coming Tuesday, Nov. 6, we will be electing our governor, lieutenant governor, and federal and state representatives, as well as several ballot questions.  This election is absolutely crucial to the future of immigrants in our country, as well as many, many other vital issues.

In the name of all of us at Casa San José, we beg you to vote on Tuesday.  And if you have friends or relatives who can vote, please convince them to do the same.

You can vote from 7 am to 8 pm – and if you are in line by 8 they have to keep the polls open until you vote.

This nonpartisan site from the League of Women Voters – vote411.org – will tell you

  • your polling place
  • what will be on your ballot
  • background on the candidates and ballot questions
  • Hotline numbers to call (in Spanish too) if you have any problems voting

If you need a ride to your polling place, or more information, please contact us at 412-343-3111.

We thank you for participating in our democracy and for advancing the cause of justice!
