Pittsburgh Post-Gazette Spotlights Martin Esquivel-Hernandez’s Deportation

Martin Esquivel-Hernandez who is a construction worker and house painter, a Mexican immigrant faces deportation. Esquivel-Hernandez is held at the Seneca County jail in Ohio where, “authorities typically have a Mexico-bound flight each Tuesday for deportees at that jail.”

Pittsburgh Roman Catholic Bishop David Zubik is quoted in the article regarding Esquivel-Hernandez, “This is a man who has contributed to the community. Removing him doesn’t protect anybody. It actually harms a lot of people.”
